2004: Newcastle United appoint Graeme Souness

Graeme Souness was appointed manager of Newcastle United after leaving Blackburn Rovers.

He guided them to a 14th-place finish in 2004/05 while making it to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup and the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Souness left the club in February 2006 and did not manage another team after that.

In total he oversaw 280 Premier League matches, finishing with a record of 94 wins, 78 draws and 108 defeats.

2009: Birmingham City 0-1 Aston Villa

Gabriel Agbonlahor scored a late winner for Aston Villa in their derby duel with Birmingham City at St Andrew's.

The striker headed home in the 85th minute after John Carew found him from Ashley Young’s corner.

Villa moved up to sixth place with nine points, while Birmingham dropped to 15th with four points.
