Brighton & Hove Albion have announced the signing of Mamelodi Sundowns striker Percy Tau.
The 24-year-old was named South Africa's Premier Soccer League player of the season in May. He joins Brighton on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee and will go out on loan in 2018/19.
"Percy is a player we have highlighted for the future, and there is no doubting his talent, having been voted South African player of the season," Brighton manager Chris Hughton told the club’s official website.
"Percy will go out on loan this season, play regularly and get some experience of European football."
Tau has 12 caps for South Africa, scoring five goals.
He is Hughton's ninth senior signing this summer.
