2004: Emile Heskey joins Birmingham City
Birmingham City bolstered their attacking options with the signing of striker Emile Heskey from Liverpool.
In his first season, Heksey was named as the player of the season by the club and the fans as his 10 goals helped Birmingham finish in 12th place.
He added another four goals the following campaign as Birmingham were relegated from the Premier League.
Heskey left St Andrew's that summer for Wigan Athletic.
