2001: Sheringham returns to Spurs

Teddy Sheringham completed his return to Tottenham Hotspur, signing a two-year deal at White Hart Lane.

In his first season back he helped Spurs to a ninth-place finish, their highest in six years, and to reach the League Cup final. 

The striker scored 22 times in his second spell with the club before joining Portsmouth in June 2003.

2010: Steven Reid agrees to join West Bromwich Albion

After spending the final two months of 2009/10 on loan at West Bromwich Albion, Steven Reid made his switch to the Baggies permanent - signing from Blackburn Rovers. 

He went on to play at the Hawthorns for four seasons, making 72 PL appearances and scoring twice.
