Chelsea were inspired by three 17-year-olds as a team consisting only of teenagers earned a 3-0 Premier League 2 Division 1 victory against promoted Blackburn Rovers at Leyland.

Billy Gilmour, 17 (pictured), opened the scoring after only 90 seconds before Daishawn Redan doubled the lead early in the second half, following an assist from Callum Hudson-Odoi, both the same age.

Captain Luke McCormick, 19, hit the third late on to give Chelsea four points from two matches and leave 2017/18 Division 2 champions yet to register a victory.
