Notts County beat Newport County 6-0 to become one of four teams to complete the Premier League Cup group stage line-up with victory in the qualifying round. 

Remaye Campbell (pictured) scored four times and Lewis Alessandra added another two goals to confirm their place in Group H alongside Southampton, Newcastle United and Leeds United

Plymouth Argyle will meet PL Cup holders Aston Villa in Group F after beating 2016/17 semi-finalists Portsmouth to reach the competition's group stage for the first time. 

Alex Battle and Cameron Sangster scored for the Pilgrims, either side of Haji Mnoga's equaliser for Pompey at Home Park. 

Exeter City, who reached the Round of 16 in last season's PL Cup, qualified for the group stage with a 1-0 victory at Bristol Rovers. 

The other qualifiers were Oxford United, who beat Southend United 2-1 at Roots Hall.
