Burnley 1-1 Huddersfield Town

Christopher Schindler scored his first Premier League goal to give Huddersfield Town a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

The centre-back glanced in Chris Lowe’s cross with the back of his head in the 66th minute to end a three-match losing streak for his side.

Sam Vokes had given Burnley a 20th-minute lead with his second goal in successive matches, as he headed in Johann Berg Gudmundsson’s cross.

The visitors had the better of the match but could not find the goal that would have earned them their first win of the season.

The draw stretches Burnley’s unbeaten Premier League run to three matches, and leaves them 12th. Town move up to 18th.
