As an outstanding source of points in home fixtures, Andrew Robertson (£6.4m) earns a recall to The Scout’s best XI for Gameweek 12 of Fantasy Premier League.
The Liverpool defender has averaged an impressive 8.3 points per match at Anfield ahead of Sunday's visit from Fulham.
Clean sweep
Robertson has claimed a clean sheet in all four home appearances, as well as eight bonus points and one assist.
The Scot takes his place in a 4-4-2 formation, with Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) the captain and Eden Hazard (£11.3m) vice-captain.
Salah and Hazard will hope to repeat the feats of Gameweek 11’s selection, which earned 86 points overall.
The Gameweek 11 captain Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) delivered 26 points with the armband, while vice-captain Raheem Sterling (£11.1m) claimed 21 points.
The Scout's GW12 Selection
Mat Ryan (BHA) £4.6m
The Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper has three clean sheets and 31 FPL points from the last four Gameweeks. Ryan travels to Cardiff City, whose 29 shots on target rank joint-bottom in the first 11 Gameweeks.
Marcos Alonso (CHE) £7.0m
Chelsea’s left-back has been one of the most consistent players in FPL, returning six or more points in eight of his 11 appearances. Alonso has delivered four double-digit returns ahead of his home match with Everton.
Andrew Robertson (LIV) £6.4m
The Liverpool full-back's 12 chances created from open play are ranked second among defenders. Robertson could earn his fifth successive home clean sheet against a Fulham side who have managed only four goals in seven Gameweeks.
Fabian Balbuena (WHU) £4.4m
A big goal threat for West Ham United, the centre-back's nine shots inside the box in the last four Gameweeks is the top tally among defenders. Balbuena travels to Huddersfield Town, who have one goal at home.
Kiko Femenia (WAT) £4.2m
Watford’s budget right-back has produced two clean sheets, an assist and 20 FPL points in the last three Gameweeks. Femenia goes to a Southampton side who have scored just one goal in their last six matches.
Mohamed Salah (LIV) £13.0m
The Liverpool winger has scored in four of his five home appearances, averaging 8.4 points a match at Anfield. Salah welcomes a Fulham defence who have conceded 29 goals, more than any other side.
Sadio Mane (LIV) £9.8m
The Senegalese can also take advantage of Fulham's defence to produce another devastating haul at home. Mane has returned 16 and 15 points in two of his five matches at Anfield.
Eden Hazard (CHE) £11.3m
The top points-scoring player in FPL has three double-figure hauls in six home appearances. He faces Everton, who have yet to keep an away clean sheet.
Ryan Fraser (BOU) £6.1m
The AFC Bournemouth winger travels to Newcastle United with a fine creative record on the road. Four of Fraser’s five assists have been supplied in away matches.
Marko Arnautovic (WHU) £7.1m
A 12-point haul in Gameweek 11 was the Austrian's second double-figure return in his last five appearances. Arnautovic makes his way to Huddersfield, where he produced a goal and two assists in the corresponding fixture last season.
Jamie Vardy (LEI) £9.0m
Last season’s second top-scoring FPL forward can rediscover his form at home to Burnley. The Clarets have conceded four or more goals in each of the last three Gameweeks.
What the experts say
Sam, FPL Family (@FPLFamily): Going heavy on Liverpool assets seems wise. I was expecting to see Felipe Anderson (£6.9m) in the team on the back of a successful return last week and a favourable fixture at Huddersfield.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg): I would prefer Manchester City options over Hazard. I feel their potential for points is fixture-proof. I own both Arnautovic and Vardy, so am hoping they are good picks.
Holly Shand (@FFCommunity): Three Liverpool players will provide points, with their premium midfielders Salah and Mane, along with Chelsea’s Hazard, likely goalscorers this weekend. I’m considering moves for Arnautovic and Fraser, as both have good fixtures this Saturday.
Neal Thurman (@nealjthurman): No objection to any of these choices but it’s hard not to have a Leicester City full-back, Ben Chilwell (£5.0m) or Ricardo Pereira (£5.0m), at home against Burnley.
Paul Gee (@fplPaulGee): I wish I had Vardy this week. I really fancy him to get a couple. The team lacks some Man City attack as I think they will see off Manchester United comfortably. A double-up on the Liverpool attack seems the smart thing to do.
