Lucas Perez scored his first Premier League double as West Ham United beat Cardiff City 3-1 at London Stadium.
Cardiff had the chance to take a 35th-minute lead when Marko Arnautovic fouled Junior Hoilett, but Lukasz Fabianski saved Joe Ralls’s penalty.
An injured Arnautovic was replaced by Perez, who volleyed in his first Premier League goal for the Hammers from Robert Snodgrass’s flick on 49 minutes.
Five minutes later the Spaniard doubled the lead from Arthur Masuaku’s pass.
Michail Antonio made it 3-0 with a glancing header from Snodgrass's corner.
Substitute Josh Murphy scrambled a late consolation for Cardiff, who remain 16th on 11.
The victory takes West Ham up to 12th on 18 points.
