With the second Fantasy Premier League Wildcard available, The Scout looks at the top targets to consider for the chip.
Alisson (LIV) £5.9m
The Brazilian is the top-scoring goalkeeper in FPL, with 101 points over his 21 Gameweek appearances.
Alisson has provided a safe pair of hands since arriving at Liverpool last summer. His 12 clean sheets are two more than the closest rival.
He has conceded only 10 goals, earning one save point on seven occasions.
Liverpool's second half to the season suggests more clean sheets can follow.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Rankings (FDR), only three of their remaining 17 opponents score more than three.
While that strengthens the claim of Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) as the go-to captain, doubling up on their resilient defence could also pay off.
Andrew Robertson (£6.6m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.4m) are Liverpool's top-scoring defenders in FPL, with 115 and 106 points respectively.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.1m) offers a far less expensive route into their defence.
He has averaged 5.4 points per match compared with Robertson’s 6.1 and the 5.0 of Van Dijk.
Should Liverpool keep up their impressive defensive displays, pairing Alisson with Alexander-Arnold for only £11.0m could offer Fantasy managers big value for the run-in.
