With the second Fantasy Premier League Wildcard available, The Scout reviews the top targets to consider for the chip.
Raul Jimenez (WOL) £6.4m
The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker has been a cut-price sensation in FPL this season.
Starting at a cost of £5.5m, Jimenez has delivered six goals, six FPL assists and 95 points.
In terms of points-per-million value, the Mexican’s 14.8 is second only to the 15.7 of Callum Wilson (£6.7m) up front.
And that has helped him rise £0.9m in price this term, more than any other player in FPL.
The underlying statistics show why Jimenez has been such a popular pick.
His 65 shots, with 48 being made inside the penalty area, each rank among the top five players.
The upcoming schedule also looks encouraging for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
After their Gameweek 22 trip to Manchester City, all seven of their next opponents score no more than three in the Fixture Difficulty Rankings (FDR).
Jimenez has the eye for goal to take advantage of that run and extend his impressive debut campaign in FPL.
