Despite scoring 16 cup goals without reply over the last five days, Manchester City players are being sold more than any other team in Fantasy Premier League, but is transferring out the champions' stars a mistake?
The ownership of Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) and Leroy Sane (£9.6m) has dropped to 10.2 and 10.3 per cent respectively after one goal between them in the last four Gameweeks.
But, in the latest FPL Show, Danny Jamieson says the +670,000 managers who sold Sterling and the +470,000 who ditched Sane should have shown patience with City's attacking talents, even if they are rested.
"Man City will, at worst, end up as the Premier League's second-best attack, so we know they're going to score goals, we know they're going to create assists," Jamieson says.
"The theory pre-season that these City players would be worth it long term even if they're dropped has turned out to be true.
"They still pick up more points than the other players in the league."
