Goals from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette earned Arsenal a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City.
After paying tribute to Cardiff striker Emiliano Sala before kick-off, the Bluebirds started impressively, with Bobby Reid hitting the side-netting.
But in the 66th minute, Aubameyang put Arsenal ahead when he converted a penalty after Sead Kolasinac had been fouled by Bruno Ecuele Manga.
Arsenal doubled their lead through Lacazette's drilled effort after a driving run, before Nathaniel Mendez-Laing curled in a stoppage-time consolation goal for Cardiff.
Arsenal have moved level on 47 points with fourth-placed Chelsea but remain fifth on goal difference.
Cardiff are 18th on 19 points, three points behind Southampton in 17th.
