Ashley Barnes scored a last-gasp penalty as Burnley earned a 1-1 draw against Southampton at Turf Moor.
The striker drilled in the Clarets' first Premier League spot-kick since April 2017 after Jack Stephens handled the ball under pressure from Burnley debutant substitute Peter Crouch.
Southampton started brightly and Danny Ings was denied by Tom Heaton when through on goal, before going off with an injury.
Nathan Redmond put Saints 1-0 up with a superb 55th-minute strike.
Barnes was denied by McCarthy from close range then hit the crossbar before his dramatic equaliser, which keeps both sides unbeaten in the PL in 2019.
Southampton are 16th, ahead of Burnley on goal difference only and two points above the relegation zone.
