West Ham United earned a first win in eight matches with a 1-0 victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Aaron Cresswell's third goal of the season was the difference as he struck shortly into the second half, bending a low shot into the bottom corner.
Chelsea had had the better of the match until the goal, but could have fallen further behind, Fabian Balbuena's header being saved by Kepa Arrizabalaga.
West Ham thought they had s second on 67 minutes when Michail Antonio bundled in Robert Snodgrass's cross. However, the VAR spotted Antonio had used his hand and the goal was overturned.
In a resolute defensive showing, Premier League debutant David Martin, son of Hammers legend, Alvin, earned a clean sheet in the West Ham goal.
West Ham move up to 13th with 16 points.
A second successive defeat keeps Chelsea in fourth on 26 points, six clear of Tottenham Hotspur.
