Raul Jimenez's second-half winner earned three points for Wolverhampton Wanderers in a match Norwich City dominated for long spells.
Todd Cantwell fired the Canaries ahead on 17 minutes after the visitors failed to clear a low cross from Kenny McLean.
Striker Teemu Pukki then passed up two excellent chances to put Daniel Farke's side further ahead.
Emiliano Buendia, a threat all afternoon, directed a shot narrowly over as the hosts continued to push forward after the break.
But Wolves levelled on 60 minutes when a fine ball by Joao Moutinho, from a short corner, was met by Romain Saiss with an excellent header.
Ruben Neves flashed a shot just wide before Jimenez broke Norwich hearts with nine minutes left.
Wolves climb up to sixth place on 27 points, while Norwich remains 19th with 12 points.
