Conor Gallagher scored his debut Premier League goal to give West Bromwich Albion their first victory of the season, as they recorded a 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
The midfielder neatly guided the ball into the bottom corner from outside the area after a corner was cleared in the 13th minute.
But the Blades, who were also seeking their first victory, had opportunities to earn a point.
Oli McBurnie and John Fleck came close early on and after the break, George Baldock and substitute Lys Mousset both missed glorious chances.
Baggies goalkeeper Sam Johnstone also denied Oliver Burke and McBurnie.
At the other end, Baldock cleared off the line from Karlan Grant, while Aaron Ramsdale denied Kyle Bartley and substitute Hal Robson-Kanu.
West Brom climb out of the bottom three up to 17th on six points, while Sheff Utd stay bottom on one.
