Bruno Fernandes created two goals as Manchester United won 3-1 at Brentford, earning their first victory in three matches.
Brentford were the more dangerous team in the first half and David De Gea was forced to make two excellent saves to deny Mathias Jensen. But Man Utd improved after the break.
Cristiano Ronaldo almost made the breakthrough, but his looping header from Fernandes' cross came back off the crossbar.
United took the lead on 55 minutes when Fred picked out Anthony Elanga, who headed in from close range.
Mason Greenwood added a second for the visitors in the 62nd minute, with Fernandes running through on goal before unselfishly gifting his team-mate an open goal.
Fernandes then played in substitute Marcus Rashford to fire in first-time past Jonas Lossl, before Ivan Toney bundled in a consolation goal.
United stay seventh but now have 35 points, putting them two points outside the top four. Brentford's third straight defeat leaves them 14th with 23 points.
