Jack Harrison scored his first hat-trick in professional football as Leeds United earned a thrilling 3-2 win over West Ham United at London Stadium.
The midfielder's first of the afternoon came after 10 minutes, sweeping Adam Forshaw's cutback into the bottom-right corner.
West Ham hit back through Jarrod Bowen, who headed in Aaron Cresswell's 34th-minute corner to follow up his double against Norwich City on Wednesday.
But parity lasted just three minutes as Harrison struck from close range at the back post.
Pablo Fornals' run and finish made it 2-2 seven minutes after half-time, but Harrison lifted a fine Raphinha through-ball over West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to complete his treble on the hour.
Bowen turned a Michail Antonio cross over the bar deep into stoppage time as the Hammers missed the chance to go five points clear in fourth position.
Victory puts Leeds on 22 points, moving above Everton into 15th in the table.
West Ham stay two points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal, who have two matches in hand.
