First-half goals from Jesse Lingard and Craig Dawson helped West Ham United complete the double over Leeds United with a 2-0 win at the London Stadium.
Leeds started brightly and had goals from Tyler Roberts and Patrick Bamford overturned for offside and the ball going out of play respectively in the opening eight minutes.
West Ham weathered the early storm and went ahead on 21 minutes. Lingard was caught by Luke Ayling and although his initial penalty was parried by Illan Meslier, the loanee from Manchester United tapped home the rebound.
Craig Dawson doubled West Ham's lead on 27 minutes with a firm close-range header from Aaron Cresswell's inswinging corner.
It was nearly 3-0 moments before the break, but Dawson's header from another Cresswell corner smacked the woodwork.
Leeds tried to get a foothold in the match as both Bamford and Raphinha, with an overhead kick, went close soon after the break.
But David Moyes's side kept their defensive solidity to record a third consecutive home win and move above Everton into fifth spot.
West Ham have 48 points, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with a match in hand.
Leeds, yet to win a point in London this season, remain 11th with 35 points.
