Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers played out an entertaining goalless draw at Villa Park where chances were aplenty.
Villa hit the bar twice in the first 16 minutes, first through Ollie Watkins' long-range strike and then Ezri Konsa's close-range effort on the stretch.
After half-time, Emiliano Martinez saved Pedro Neto's fierce shot after the Wolves forward had run from inside his own half.
Wolves' best chance came when Conor Coady headed against a post and the ball fell to Romain Saiss, who somehow steered it over an empty net from two yards.
Coady was then denied from close range by Martinez's left foot.
Villa almost claimed a win in stoppage time. Watkins, with Villa's first shot on target, was thwarted by Rui Patricio before Konsa blazed the rebound wide.
Villa stay ninth with 40 points, seven off Chelsea in fourth. Wolves are five points behind their West Midlands rivals in 12th.
