Daniel Amartey scored three minutes from time to earn Leicester City a 2-1 victory at Brighton & Hove Albion that takes them up to second place in the Premier League.
Adam Lallana gave the Seagulls a 10th-minute lead, latching on to Neal Maupay's through-ball and slotting low for his first Brighton goal.
Sidnei Tavares was denied a long-range goal on his first Leicester start by a fine Robert Sanchez save before Lallana hit the post with a header shortly before the break.
Kelechi Iheanacho found the side-netting early in the second half before drawing Leicester level with a chipped finish from a pinpoint Youri Tielemans pass on 62 minutes.
Schmeichel saved low from Lallana before Amartey struck the winner.
Sanchez flapped at Marc Albrighton's corner to allow a stooping Amartey to head into the net and extend Leicester's unbeaten league away run to 10 matches.
The Foxes now have 53 points, two more than third-placed Manchester United who visit leaders Manchester City on Sunday.
A third straight defeat leaves Brighton in 16th, three points above the relegation zone.
