A superb Romain Saiss goal proved decisive as Wolverhampton Wanderers earned a 1-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.
There were few clear-cut chances in the opening 45 minutes, until Saiss volleyed into the net after being played in by a wonderful Ruben Neves pass in first-half stoppage time.
Moments later, Enock Mwepu fired a great chance over from a few yards out for Brighton.
After the break, Saiss twice struck the woodwork, first hitting the crossbar, before his well-struck volley came back off a post.
Mwepu fired over again as Brighton pressed for an equaliser, but it never came as Wolves held on for their first victory in five matches.
Wolves move up to eighth on 24 points, four above Brighton who drop to 13th position.
