Jarrad Branthwaite scored his first Premier League goal as Everton secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were dominant in the first 45 minutes with 81 per cent possession yet were unable to convert any of their 13 shots on goal.
Reece James and Mason Mount went close early on with Mount denied by the legs of busy Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in a one-on-one after 32 minutes.
Chelsea continued to pepper the Toffees' goal and their pressure finally told on 70 minutes. James slipped the ball through to Mount and he finished with aplomb to become the Blues' youngest player to score in four consecutive Premier League matches.
Everton were level only four minutes later with Branthwaite diverting Anthony Gordon's free-kick to the far post beyond Edouard Mendy.
Another fine save by Pickford kept out Thiago Silva's bullet header as Chelsea went close late on but Everton dug in for a point.
Chelsea remain third with 37 points, four behind leaders Manchester City. Everton stay in 14th spot on 19 points.
