A sensational goal from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva's header within eight second-half minutes gave Chelsea a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel's team started quickly, with Callum Hudson-Odoi heading wide and Ziyech forcing Hugo Lloris into a smart save in the opening 12 minutes.
Harry Kane thought he had broken the deadlock towards the end of the first half, but the Spurs striker was adjudged to have fouled Silva in the build-up.
It was Ziyech who did score the opening goal, finding the top-left corner of the net with a sublime, curling finish from outside the penalty area on 47 minutes.
Silva then glanced Mason Mount's free-kick in on 55 minutes for his second goal against Spurs in this Premier League campaign.
Kepa Arrizabalaga produced a sharp save to keep out a Kane header late on as Chelsea, who have now won six and drawn one of their last seven league meetings with Spurs, held on to their clean sheet.
The Blues stay third, moving within 10 points of leaders Manchester City and one behind Liverpool.
Spurs remain seventh with 36 points after Antonio Conte suffered his first defeat in his ninth league match as head coach.
