Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored a stunning goal and set up another for Ademola Lookman as Leicester City leapfrogged Crystal Palace into ninth place with a 2-1 win at King Power Stadium.
Palace pushed for the opener as Jean-Philippe Mateta was denied by a superb Kasper Schmeichel save on 19 minutes, moments before an unmarked Joachim Andersen headed wide.
Dewsbury-Hall then took centre stage, setting up Lookman to sweep home a 39th-minute opener before adding a second with a sumptuous strike into the top corner on the stroke of half-time.
Wilfried Zaha reduced the arrears on 65 minutes with a follow-up header after Schmeichel had saved his penalty. The Leicester 'keeper had already repelled Zaha's first spot-kick, but the Palace winger got a second chance after the VAR had spotted a Leicester encroachment.
Mateta fired narrowly wide with four minutes remaining as Leicester held on for a fourth win in six matches to move above Palace with 40 points.
Palace slip one place to 10th, three points behind the Foxes.
