Pierre Lees-Melou and Teemu Pukki kept Norwich City's hopes of safety alive with a 2-0 victory against fellow strugglers Burnley at Carrow Road.
Norwich opened the scoring on nine minutes when Lees-Melou's low shot from the edge of the area took a deflection off Josh Brownhill to go beyond Nick Pope. It was his first goal of the season.
Pope denied Pukki seven minutes later, brilliantly blocking the striker's effort with an outstretched leg.
The Clarets responded with Ashley Westwood, Jay Rodriguez and Matt Lowton all thwarted by solid defensive blocks as Norwich defended resolutely.
Maxwel Cornet spurned a glorious opportunity to level for Burnley on 65 minutes, firing over from six yards.
And Pukki made the points safe for Norwich with an angled finish four minutes from time.
A first win since January lifts the Canaries to 21 points, seven off fourth-from-bottom Everton.
Burnley remain in 18th spot, four points behind the Toffees.
