Phil Bardsley put Jeffrey Schlupp's low cross past Tom Heaton and into his own net on 15 minutes to open the scoring.
Michy Batshuayi doubled the Eagles' lead three minutes after half-time, converting Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cross.
Wilfried Zaha twisted and turned past two players before finishing low past Heaton to put the result beyond doubt 14 minutes from time.
Ashley Barnes grabbed a consolation in the 90th minute as Burnley drop to 16th with 30 points.
Palace climb to 13th with 33 points, eight clear of the bottom three.
