Two quickfire first-half goals eased Wolverhampton Wanderers past Cardiff City at Molineux.
Diogo Jota struck first with a low finish into the bottom left corner from Raul Jimenez’s pass on 16 minutes.
The midfielder returned the favour for Wolves’ top scorer two minutes later, as Jimenez grabbed his 11th league goal.
Cardiff had goalkeeper Neil Etheridge to thank for keeping the score down in the second half.
Wolves maintain their hold on seventh with 43 points.
Cardiff remain 18th with 25 points, two from Southampton above them.
