Donovan Hunt of Liverpool (F2Tekkz) booked his expected place in the ePremierLeague XBox final with an accomplished win against the in-form Josh Jones (Jonesy17FIFA) of Manchester United.

The 17-year-old No 1 seed took advantage of a defensive slip by Jones in the first leg to take the lead and he never looked back as went on to win 5-1 on aggregate.

Jones had eased past every round but was unable to respond to going behind, seeing two shots hit the woodwork.

Liverpool fan Hunt is determined to stop a United triumph and is now setting his sights on another Red Devil, Kyle Reese, who is in the PlayStation final.

"That's one Man Utd player down, but there's one more in the tournament," he said. "I can't let Man Utd win, honestly…

"He [Jones] got quite unlucky, he hit the post twice, but I was the better player overall."

In the final Hunt will meet 16-year-old Diogo Mendes (SCP Diogo), of Fulham, who secured an against-the-odds success against Arsenal's Tassal Rushan (Tass).

Mendes won the first leg 2-1, then staged a defensive effort to keep Rushan at bay in a goalless second leg, helped by the brilliance of David De Gea in his goal.

"I didn’t think I’d get to the final," Mendes said. "But, yes, here I am. I just beat Tass, so I'm proud.

"I was definitely the underdog. I'm not better at FIFA than him, and I've got less followers on Twitter!"
