Chelsea were unable to close the gap to the top of Division 1 as they were hold to a goalless draw with Leicester City in Aldershot.
The home team dominated the encounter on Friday night but failed to convert their chances, despite the late dismissal of Leicester's Lamine Sherif.
Ade Viveash's team are sixth, six points behind Everton, the leaders, while Leicester, for whom it was a third successive draw after four straight defeats, remain bottom.
