Aston Villa signed Savo Milosevic from Partizan Belgrade on 26 June 1995.
The striker was the first Serb to play in the Premier League and became the top-scoring player from the Balkan nation in the competition's history with 29 goals, netting them all in only three seasons at Villa Park.

Milosevic also provided 11 assists in his 90 Premier League appearances, including on his debut as Villa beat Manchester United 3-1 at Villa Park.
He enjoyed a dream debut season, his 12 goals in 37 league matches helping Aston Villa finish fourth.
He also scored the opener as Villa beat Leeds United 3-0 to win the 1996 EFL Cup final.
Villa finished fifth and then seventh in his final two campaigns for the club, before he moved to Spanish side Real Zaragoza in the summer of 1998.
