A stunning volley from Darren Carter gave West Bromwich Albion a shock victory over Arsenal at The Hawthorns.

Chris Kirkland made a number of fine saves in the home goal and down the other end, Carter fired beyond Jens Lehmann to seal the win.

West Brom moved up to 15th with eight points while Arsenal dropped to eighth on 13 points.
