Cameron Evans' first-half header was enough for Swansea City to beat 10-man Sunderland in Premier League 2 Division 2.
Sunderland made a bright start at Landore Training Centre and midfielder Owen Gamble fired an effort just over.
Keiran Evans had the ball in the back of the net for Swansea on eight minutes, but it was ruled out for offside.
The home side made the breakthrough in first-half stoppage time, when Evans nodded in a corner.
After the break, Sunderland pressed for an equaliser but were dealt a blow when Cieran Dunne was shown a red card late on.
Swansea are sixth on seven points, ending a run of three successive defeats, while Sunderland remain bottom with a point.
