Jose Mourinho enjoyed a successful return to the Premier League as Tottenham Hotspur beat West Ham United 3-2 at London Stadium.

Son Heung-min scored the first goal of the Mourinho era on 36 minutes before turning provider for Lucas Moura to slide in their second from six yards.

It was 3-0 four minutes after the break as Harry Kane headed home Serge Aurier's cross.

West Ham threatened to spoil the new head coach's day when substitute Michail Antonio struck with 17 minutes left and Angelo Ogbonna scored in stoppage time.

But it was too late as Mourinho secured Spurs' first away win since January to lift them to ninth on 17 points.

A third straight defeat leaves the Hammers 16th, three points above the relegation zone.
