The Scout looks at the best-performing players across the first 11 Gameweeks of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League.
Lining up in a 3-4-3 formation, the XI contains players from EIGHT different clubs, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest the only sides to supply more than one player.
Andre Onana (Man Utd) £5.1m, 53pts
Five clean sheets, a penalty save and five save points have made Manchester United’s No 1 the best goalkeeper in Fantasy. Onana also leads the Bonus Points System (BPS) for goalkeepers, suggesting he'll add to his five bonus points whenever the Red Devils keep a clean sheet.
Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) £6.3m, 56pts
Defensive solidity has underpinned the Dutchman's rise to the top of the defender standings. Van Dijk's six clean sheets, a league-leading tally, are just three fewer than he managed across the whole of last season.
Josko Gvardiol (Man City) £6.3m, 50pts
The Man City defender's many routes to returns have seen him register three goals and a clean sheet over the last six Gameweeks. Gvardiol's 12 shots in the box and seven shots on target this season both place first in his position.
Ola Aina (Nott'm Forest) £4.7m, 48pts
The best-value defender in Fantasy and the standout member of a Nottingham Forest backline that have defied expectations this season. Nuno Espirito Santo's side have allowed only 15 big chances, the fewest of any team, helping Aina to register four clean sheets.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £12.9m, 107pts
Liverpool's Egyptian has racked up seven double-figure hauls across the opening 11 Gameweeks, more than twice that of any other player. The only member of the Team of the Season to surpass 100 points, Salah is on course for a record-breaking 370 points over the campaign, if he can maintain his 9.7 points per match average.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £10.9m, 84pts
Few can match Chelsea's playmaker when it comes to explosive hauls; his 25-point return at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in Gameweek 6 is the best single-Gameweek score this season. Ominously for his rivals, Palmer's total of 84 points is 43 more than he had at the same stage last season, when he went on to top the player standings at the end of the campaign.
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) £7.9m, 76pts
The Brentford talisman's sparkling home record is the best in Fantasy. With seven goals and one assist, Mbeumo has returned in each of his six appearances at the Gtech Community Stadium, averaging 10.0 points per match across those contests.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £10.1m, 67pts
A reliable source of points under Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal star has been involved in 56 per cent of his side's goals when selected, scoring three and providing seven assists. Boasting a league-leading 13 big chances created, Saka looks set to profit from a kind run of fixtures, with the Gunners facing none of last season's top six over their next nine matches.
Erling Haaland (Man City) £15.2m, 82pts
Despite a drop in output over recent Gameweeks, which has seen his ownership fall from 74 per cent to 64 per cent, the Norwegian still tops the goalscoring charts on 12 goals. The underlying statistics highlight the risk managers take when removing Haaland from their team, with his 55 shots, 47 shots in the box, 19 big chances and 31 shots on target all more than any other player.
Chris Wood (Nott'm Forest) £6.6m, 68pts
An impressive 78 per cent shooting accuracy, the best of any forward to have taken at least 15 shots, has fuelled the New Zealand international's clinical start to the campaign. His eight goals and 68 points have led to a position-high £0.6m price increase.
Danny Welbeck (Brighton) £5.9m, 64pts
The best-value player in Fantasy, Brighton's striker has returned 10.8 points per million spent. The most-recruited forward of 2024/25 Fantasy, snapped up by over 3.2million managers, Welbeck has been a reliable performer, scoring or assisting in seven of his 11 appearances. He gets the nod as the seventh attacker over Luis Diaz (£7.7m), who has also returned 64 points, due to goal involvements, bettering the Colombian by eight to seven.
