How did you do against the Fantasy Premier League experts in Gameweek 13?

The FPL Experts Panel team is run by some of the best Fantasy managers in the world.

And they enjoyed an excellent Gameweek 13, scoring 71 points and moving up 222,427 places in the overall standings.

The experts made three trades in Gameweek 13, taking a four-point hit.

That decision paid off handsomely with new signings Jamie Vardy (£9.7m), Youri Tielemans (£6.7m) and Jack Grealish (£5.9m) contributing 33 points to their total.

Dream debut

The panel joined over 1.2million managers in handing Vardy the captaincy, and he did not disappoint in his first appearance for the team.

The Leicester City striker scored, supplied an assist and collected the maximum three bonus points in a 2-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Vardy's 24-point haul is only the fourth captain success of the season for the experts, and their joint-highest armband return.

Meanwhile, Grealish contributed an assist from a free-kick in Aston Villa’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Monday evening.

Elsewhere in attack, Raul Jimenez (£7.4m) and Sadio Mane (£12.2m) both continued their form, each scoring for the third successive Gameweek.

And Kevin De Bruyne (£10.2m) notched his first goal since Gameweek 6, scoring Manchester City's opener in their 2-1 win over Chelsea

Another shutout

In defence, the experts’ third Leicester player, Caglar Soyuncu (£5.0m), recorded his fourth successive clean sheet.

Since joining the experts’ team in Gameweek 9, the Turkey international has returned 36 points. That is two points more than John Lundstram (£4.9m) over the same period.

Lundstram registered his fifth attacking return of the season in Sheffield United's 3-3 draw with Manchester United, supplying an assist for the Blades' opener.

Join to beat them

The team’s Gameweek 13 score of 71 points moves them up to 746,756th overall. They are ranked 18,820th out of 46,491 teams in the "Beat the FPL Panel" mini-league.

Top for the third successive Gameweek, Australian Hutomo Murray extended his lead to 19 points as his team, black 10, rose one place to 14th overall.

Hutomo didn’t enjoy the same transfer success as the experts with his two new picks, Dejan Lovren (£5.3m) and Calum Chambers (£4.4m), combining for just three points.

But, like the experts, he was rewarded for owning an Aston Villa player, with Anwar El Ghazi (£5.5m) scoring against Newcastle.

Managers who want to take on the panel should enter the private classic league: "Beat the FPL Panel".
