Former Premier League defender Joleon Lescott is putting his virtual football skills to the test in the coming weeks as he tries to qualify for Manchester City in this season's ePremier League.
The former City player has been a keen FIFA gamer for years and is looking forward to taking on other fans in the second running of the competition.
And with registrations still open for 2019/20 ePL as qualification begins, the two-time Premier League champion has given us his top tips for playing the game.
1) Defence
"The first one is learn to defend properly. A lot of people can do the skills but defensively they struggle."
2) Control your emotions
"The next one is try not to get too emotional. That's a hard one for me.
"There are a few control pads that have been broken in the past and things that have been said that I wouldn't normally say.
"There are a few times when FIFA has ruined my day and my mood. It has the capability to mess with my emotions."
3) Get a routine
"Finally, just find a routine and a rhythm that works for you. It's hard to say, 'Do this, do that.'
"If that was the case, we'd all be FIFA players and we'd all be as good as each other.
"Find what works for you in terms of concentration and focus.
"Obviously, rest and nutrition is key. It may sound silly to some people, but if you're playing for a long time, concentration is going to play a factor in it and you need to focus for a number of hours."
