Charlton Athletic registered their first victory in the Premier League Cup with a 3-1 win over Fulham at the DGS Marine Stadium on Monday night.
Josh Umerah scored a goal in each half, and Joe Aribo was also on target as the Addicks raced into a three-goal lead inside 48 minutes.
Fulham pulled a goal back through Cauley Woodrow’s penalty but Charlton held on to move a point above their opponents, to second place in Group F, two points behind leaders Middlesbrough.
