The Scout looks at players expected to progress and make a big impact in 2020/21 Fantasy Premier League.
Bukayo Saka (ARS) £5.5m
The arrival of Mikel Arteta as Arsenal head coach has transformed Saka’s FPL prospects.
Saka started only five of the Gunners’ opening 18 matches last season, managing a single assist.
But he started 14 of 20 matches following Arteta's appointment, with only three team-mates playing more minutes under the Spaniard than Saka's total of 1,257.
Creative spark
The 18-year-old took his opportunity.
His five Fantasy assists under Arteta were joint-top along with Alexandre Lacazette (£8.5m).
And his four big chances created was also a team-leading total along with Nicolas Pepe (£8.0m).
Saka has taken that form into Arsenal’s pre-season fixtures.
He supplied an assist in a 4-1 win over MK Dons last week.
And he followed that up by setting up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s (£12.0m) goal in the FA Community Shield win against Liverpool.
Early appeal
Despite a low cost of just £5.5m, Saka can be found in only 8.0 per cent of squads.
However, Arsenal’s first two fixtures give him the chance to quickly catch the attention of managers.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), their opening matches against Fulham and West Ham United each score only two.
That suggests Saka can immediately make his mark as a major source of value for the campaign ahead.
