Chelsea have confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 21-year-old has agreed a five-year contract and becomes Chelsea's sixth summer signing.
"I am very happy and proud to be here," he told the club's official website.
"For me it is a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can't wait to meet all the players and the trainers. Yeah, I am very happy to be here!"
Havertz made 30 league appearances last season, scoring 12 goals and supplying six assists.
He also played in both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League in 2019/20, producing four goals and two assists in 10 appearances.
The German has featured seven times for his country after making his international debut in September 2018, when he replaced new team-mate Timo Werner against Peru.
Capable of playing different roles in midfield as well as operating as a centre-forward, Havertz will add to the attacking options available to head coach Frank Lampard.
