Fantasy Premier League experts Sam and Lee Bonfield are backing Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£12.0m) for the Gameweek 1 captaincy as they expect the Gunners and Gabon international to maintain momentum from last season.
Aubameyang is now classified as a midfielder in Fantasy and looking to build on match-winning performances in Arsenal's FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs.
He faces a trip to promoted Fulham on the opening weekend.
Speaking on the first FPL Show of the 2020/21 season, @FPLFamily's Sam said: "I'll end up with Aubameyang, because his pre-season form is so good. He is the one to have against Fulham I think."
Sam's husband and fellow @FPLFamily expert Lee added: "Locked in Aubameyang for me, no question.
"I feel like Arsenal's summer break has been quite short because of their FA Cup and then the Community Shield. So, because of that, maybe that will benefit them. Maybe they've got a bit more momentum than some other teams starting the season."
