Liam Delap has been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for November.
The 17-year-old Manchester City forward enjoyed a terrific month, scoring in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea before producing two goals and an assist in a stunning 7-2 victory at Liverpool.
This success comes after Delap marked his senior debut with a goal in a 2-1 Carabao Cup win over AFC Bournemouth in September, and made his Premier League debut as a substitute against Leicester City.
The son of Rory Delap, who made 359 Premier League appearances, he is the second Man City player to claim the award this season, following in the footsteps of October winner Cole Palmer.
Delap topped an eight-man shortlist that also featured Alfie Matthews (Crystal Palace), Liam Millar (Liverpool), Nikolaj Moller (Arsenal), Joel Mumbongo (Burnley), Jaden Philogene-Bidace (Aston Villa), Arnau Puigmal (Manchester United) and Jean-Pierre Tiehi (Fulham).
He was chosen as the winner by the Premier League Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches picked out the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches during the month.
