Staying connected with friends and relatives has been more important than ever this year, especially as we head into the festive period.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Premier League clubs have been calling on fans and those in their community to check in and ensure that those isolated have been supported.
Earlier in the year, Jack Cork made phone calls to regulars at Burnley FC in the Community’s Extra Time club who were unable to go to Turf Moor.
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti and his players surprised isolated Evertonians for a chat.
We want to encourage those connections to keep going over the festive holidays and are asking fans to connect with those who may be alone or in need of someone to talk to.
It is easy to do but to help you, the Get In Touch activity from Premier League Primary Stars includes free downloadable letter writing templates and conversation starters you can use at home.
With the Premier League action coming thick and fast this festive season, this could be one of the talking points that encourages you to pick up the phone to someone who may be on their own.
