The Scout is selecting four overlooked players who could be set for a breakout Gameweek 17 in Fantasy Premier League.

Danny Ings (SOU) £8.3m

The forward has been involved in 56 per cent of Southampton's home goals when selected this season, compared with the 25 per cent of strike partner Che Adams (£6.1m).

Both of Ings’ double-figure hauls in 2020/21 have come at St Mary’s Stadium.

Yet he can be found in just 5.5 per cent of squads for the visit of his former club Liverpool on Monday.

Christian Benteke (CRY) £5.5m

The Crystal Palace striker has stepped up his goal threat ahead of a home encounter with Sheffield United.

All three of Benteke’s goals have come in the last six Gameweeks.

Indeed, his 17 shots in the box are joint-top with Jamie Vardy (£10.2m) among all players in FPL during that period.

That highlights his cut-price potential against the Blades, who have yet to keep a clean sheet in 2020/21.

Harvey Barnes (LEI) £6.7m

A visit to Newcastle United looks promising for the in-form Leicester City winger.

Barnes has scored in back-to-back matches for the first time this season, netting against Manchester United and Crystal Palace in the last two Gameweeks.

Newcastle, meanwhile, have struggled at home this season, managing just one clean sheet in eight matches at St James’ Park.

Michail Antonio (WHU) £6.2m

After returning to action against Southampton in midweek, he offers Fantasy managers a proven cut-price pick up front.

Antonio started the campaign strongly, scoring against Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City in the opening six Gameweeks, before being sidelined through injury.

The West Ham United frontman now visits an Everton side who have managed just a single clean sheet at Goodison Park this season.
