Pep Guardiola has made it an awards double for Manchester City after winning January's Barclays Manager of the Month award.
The Spaniard adds to the EA SPORTS Player of the Month prize given to midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, after leading Man City to the top of the table with six wins from six in the league.
Guardiola's men also secured nine victories in all competitions during January, the most by any club in a calendar month in English Football League history.
'A remarkable month'
"What this team achieved in January – winning all our games, despite all the restrictions we face – is remarkable,” Guardiola told Man City's official website.
“This just shows how focused my players and staff are. They are incredible, and I am so proud to work alongside them. Every single person involved deserves huge credit.”
Man City started the month with a 3-1 victory at Chelsea and would not concede another PL goal in January.
Their winning streak also included beating Crystal Palace 4-0 at home and a 5-0 success at West Bromwich Albion.
Guardiola has now won the Barclays award eight times, matching the total earned by Jurgen Klopp, Martin O'Neill and Harry Redknapp.
The 50-year-old won after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of football experts, beating Mikel Arteta, David Moyes and Graham Potter.
