Exclusively for readers of the Fantasy Premier League Briefing, The Scout has singled out six players worthy of consideration for Gameweek 28 ahead of the 18:30 GMT deadline on Friday.
Mason Mount (CHE) £7.0m
The Chelsea midfielder offers strong all-round potential against Leeds United. Mount's 20 shots and 20 chances created are both team-leading totals for the Blues since Thomas Tuchel took charge in Gameweek 20. Mount has scored three of his five goals this season in his last five starts and, after being rested against Everton in the previous Gameweek, will be fully refreshed at Elland Road.
Cesar Azpilicueta (CHE) £5.7m
Chelsea's captain looks the most secure choice at the back for managers aiming to take advantage of the club's excellent form in defence. The Spaniard is the only player to start all of their nine Premier League matches for Tuchel, claiming a total of 60 points thanks to one goal, seven clean sheets and nine bonus points. Owned by under 6.0 per cent of managers, Azpilicueta could emerge as a major end-of-season differential.
Ahmed El Mohamady (AVL) £4.3m
The Egyptian provides a budget route into Aston Villa's strong defence against Newcastle United. He has started each of his sid'’s last three matches, producing two clean sheets and two bonus points. Villa, meanwhile, have the most reliable defence on the road this term – away from home, their eight clean sheets are at least two more than any other side.
Kelechi Iheanacho (LEI) £5.6m
Iheanacho could prove a handy differential at home against Sheffield United. The Leicester City striker has scored and earned nine-point hauls in each of the last two Gameweeks but is owned by under 1.0 per cent of managers. He can take advantage of a Blades side who are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home this term, conceding in all 13 of their road trips.
Richarlison (EVE) £8.0m
A recent move up front for Everton has transformed the Brazilian's output in Fantasy. He has scored four of his six goals this season in his last five matches, totalling 32 points over that run. Richarlison had a successful previous meeting against his weekend visitors Burnley, producing an assist and seven points in Gameweek 11.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ARS) £11.4m
Arsenal's home meeting with Tottenham Hotspur provides managers with a host of captaincy options for Gameweek 28. Aubameyang has scored eight goals in his last six starts in all competitions, while Spurs pair Harry Kane (£11.3m) and Son Heung-min (£9.6m) produced double-figure hauls in a 2-0 win over the Gunners in Gameweek 11. Gareth Bale (£9.4m), meanwhile, has claimed 36 points in his last three appearances in Fantasy.
