Jamie Bowden scored a first-half penalty before Marcel Lavinier and Kion Etete added further goals after the break as Spurs returned to winning ways in Premier League 2 Division 1.
Both teams finished the match with 10 players with Manchester United's Ethan Galbraith dismissed on 67 minutes before George Marsh saw red for the hosts 12 minutes later.
