FPL basics explained: How to register

Keen to become a Fantasy Premier League manager but not sure how? We've got you covered.

Almost 11 million managers played the game last season and you can join them in 2024/25.

To play Fantasy Premier League for the first time, you must register on the FPL site.

If you've yet to do that, head over to fantasy.premierleague.com. Once there, click 'Sign Up Now'.

There's an easy three-stage registration process, starting with the Personal Details page.

In this section, enter an email address, set up a password and fill in your personal details such as name, date of birth and country.

Once that's done, you can move on to the next step: Your Favourites.

Here, you can select a favourite club and choose other teams to follow.

In the Email Preferences tab, you can select whether or not you want to receive communications from your favourite club(s).

Once you have completed this step and confirmed your email, you are ready to start picking your squad.
