AFC Bournemouth 1-3 Southampton

Two second-half goals from Jay Rodriguez gave Southampton a come-from-behind derby victory over AFC Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium, to lift them to seventh.

AFC Bournemouth took an early lead when Nathan Ake headed home Jack Wilshere's cross after six minutes.

Southampton replied soon afterwards, Ryan Bertrand firing across goal for a fine finish just inside the far post after 14 minutes.

Three minutes after half-time Rodriguez slid in to score from close range after a run and cross from substitute Steven Davis.

Rodriguez sealed the three points on 85 minutes with a superb strike from just outside the penalty area.
